Don Pancho #1 opened in Clarksville May 8, 2002 - this was all put together by David Welch - Danell Welch and Francisco Jimenez (Pancho). Pancho was working at another restaurant and he said, "You build me another place, and I will go with you."

There was no place to eat in the Sango area, on the exit 11 side of town, except Wendy's. So when Wal-Mart opened they built a strip-mall on the end and we started trying to put a lease together with them... and Thank Goodness! It has been great for this side of town. Lots of business people meet here for lunch including locals who come out for Trivia Night.

 In 2004 we went down to Jackson Tennessee and opened the Don Pancho #2 location in The Columns Shopping Center. Since April 19, 2004, our opening day, that place has been outstanding.

Many surrounding cities feed into Jackson for the shopping and restaurants and we are happy to be apart of a great college area there.

Next we spotted a new Wal-Mart being built in Ashland City and we went to try our idea there. At the time there was really no eat-in full service dining there, besides one fish place.  We opened Don Pancho #3 in Ashland City in January 2006.

In the meantime we had been trying to get a place in the Fort Campbell, KY area. We opened our fourth location Don Pancho #4 in Oak Grove, KY in July, 2007.

We have opened our most recent spot in Mount Juliet, TN. Construction completed and we opened in March 2010 in the Mt. Juliet area right off I-40.  Our eyes have been refocused on growth and spotted additional locations.  We are excited about these new opportunities and will announce new restaurants in advance to make our current customers aware.
